Making an invoice
Turn unbilled time into lines, add fixed prices, tax or a discount, and save.
App or web
- 1.On a client's screen, tap “Create invoice”: their unbilled time is already on it. Or start from the Invoices tab with “New invoice” and pick the client. On the web it's the same, with the invoice beside the form as your client will see it.
- 2.“Add tracked time” adds the client's unbilled hours as lines, at their rate, in 15-minute blocks.
- 3.“Add line” adds anything else: a fixed price (“Per item”) or hours at a rate (“Per hour”). Tap a line (“Edit” on the web) to change or remove it.
- 4.Pick when it's “Due”, and add “Tax (%)”, a “Discount” (an amount), and “Notes” if you need them.
- 5.“Send invoice” when it's ready, or “Save draft” to finish later.
Good to know
- Time rounds up to the next 15 minutes per line, so 50 minutes bills as 1 h. The client sees “1 h at ₦45,000/h”, not “1.0”.
- Removing a time line puts its time back as unbilled, so it can go on the next invoice. “Add tracked time” offers it again if you change your mind.
- Deleting a draft puts its time back as unbilled. Its number isn't reused, so numbers can skip.
