Setting up your business
Your name, logo, colour and how clients pay you, so every invoice carries them.
App or web
- 1.In the app, the first time you open it, a “Welcome” screen asks for your business name, currency and how clients pay you (skip it, and it won't come back). Any time after that, go to Settings, then “Business details”. On the web, open the menu with your name, then “Settings”.
- 2.Add your “Business name”. Leave it empty and invoices come from your email address.
- 3.Tap “Upload logo” to put your logo on invoices, PDFs and emails. On Android you can crop it first. No logo? Pick a “Brand colour” for the badge with your initial.
- 4.Set your “Default currency”. New clients start with it.
- 5.Fill in “How clients pay you”: your bank, account number and name, or a payment link. It goes at the bottom of every new invoice.
- 6.Change the “Invoice numbers” prefix if you like (INV gives INV-0001), then tap “Save details”.
Good to know
- The logo saves as soon as you pick it; everything else waits for “Save details”. On the web, it's “Upload logo” in Settings: PNG, JPEG or WebP, saved as a PNG.
- Changing your details updates new invoices. Invoices you've already sent keep the payment details they were sent with.
